Week Four

My idea for this week is meetings in nature, specifically the meeting between bees and pollen and the effects this meeting has

Looking at these images I realised that I want the space to reflect the experience of being in a beehive.

-sounds - buzzzz :speaker

-darkness/shadows - no windows/ dimmer switch/or/no lights at all

-smell - sweet; honey

-temperature - humid/warm -> heater of some kind

-colour/tone of surrounding texture -> transparent golden brown/yellow

Transforming a material

The two pictures above are of a model I made to represent honeycomb using sellotape. 

Each piece is stuck back on itself and then grouped together to create the organic honeycomb shapes.
